Jazz Vespers is sponsored in part by Music Serving the Word, and hosted by Bruce and Karen Anderson of The Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Niles, Illinois.  Vespers features introductory readings from the Bible and Church liturgy followed by live-recorded performances by outstanding jazz musicians located around Chicago.

 

Jazz Vespers (JV) is a virtual service and concert featuring a time of reflection, prayer, and amazing music. JV is a widely-regarded community outreach and has loyal fans returning again and again.  

Proceeds from offerings received at live concerts benefit LSSI/Augustana Ministries, Chicago, a nonprofit organization that aids the severely handicapped.
